THE POWER TO CHANGE
MORE THAN 150 LEADERS MEET FOR 11 MONTHS TO BRING FRANCE'S BUSINESS WORLD INTO LINE WITH THE PARIS AGREEMENTS
As a follow-up to the Citizens' Climate Convention (CCC), the Business Climate Convention (BCC) aims to put forward bold and impactful proposals to be implemented in businesses. It will be held from 9 September 2021 to 1 July 2022 and will bring together a diversity of companies represented by more than 150 executives, a committee to guarantee the mission, independent experts, facilitators and participants from the student world.
During six 2-day sessions spread over 11 months, the selected managers will be surrounded by the best scientific and educational experts to rethink their company and activities. The horizon: a 55% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, with the imperative of protecting biodiversity and regenerating life.
A REINVENTION FROM WITHIN
The Business for Climate Convention was conceived to resolve the dissonance between ecological urgency and economic priorities. The project's initiators come from the business world and wish to contribute to accelerating its transition.
