Synopsis:
At the dawn of the greatest change in the history of humanity, all our present actions have consequences for our future, and we must be aware of this. Faced with this fact, Gaëtan meets Victor Galuchot, Liv Sansoz and Tony Lamiche.
Together, they reflect, exchange and question their skiing practices and their way of life. In an eternal quest for performance, these professional skiers demonstrate that their actions and ecological reflections do not limit their practices, whether it be to explore the highest peaks of the Alps or to draw new lines on their gardens.

Conscience is Gaëtan Gaudissard's crazy idea, realized by Alexandre Chambet. They took with them a team of passionate people to bring this idea to life. It is the questioning of the daily life of professional skiers, through the reflections of Victor Galuchot, Tony Lamiche, Liv Sansoz and Gaëtan Gaudissard. These are people who have all, at some point in their careers, become aware of the impact of their profession, and who have decided to act, to minimise this impact, to question themselves in order to move towards a healthier lifestyle.
Conscience is here to share the adventures and stories of people who, through their experience of the mountains, have come to realise the urgent need to protect them.

Gaëtan and the film team made Conscience in a comprehensive way that went with the spirit of the project. They quantified the film's greenhouse gas emissions for several reasons. Firstly, to understand the most emitting posts, the place of each parameter, which will then allow them to improve in the future, to see where the margins for manoeuvre are. Also to estimate the savings already made thanks to all the efforts put in place. And then, to try to compensate as accurately as possible and with their values, the emissions emitted during the adventure.
The use of 3,420 km by train and 594 km by bicycle, as an alternative to the private car, saved 828 kg CO2 eq. or almost 30% of the film's current emissions.
