A unique and unprecedented experience: she lived for a week in the woods, without food or water.
Diary of an immersion in nature.
"The ecological crisis is at the heart of our concerns today. But we fail to take the full measure of it, to feel it. Because our
ways of life have never been so disconnected from nature.
So I decided to go away for several days to immerse myself in it with a hammock, a knife and François, a survival guide.
I canoed down the Charente and slept on its banks. I learned to make a fire with wet wood, to feed on boiled plants, I gave up killing a coypu, I lived at the slow rhythm of the wild life. Then I continued the adventure, alone, in the Pyrenees, where I discovered immensity and fear, experiencedstorms, beauty... and humility. I came back with only one desire: to go back. J. M.
With as much humour as sensitivity, Jennifer gives us the account of her immersion.
